The Library & Annex were
designed by Wright & Noxon as a bedroom suite with a bay
windowed alcove and fireplace.
Leacock converted it into a library in 1936 following his
retirement from McGill University. It now houses the
writer's extant book collection (above) that forms part of Leacock
Museum's archive of more than 30,000 books, manuscripts and
personal papers.
